The Shimano SM-SH51 Cleat Set is is the original, single release version of the SPD cleat that has ruled the mountain bike world since the advent of clipless pedals (they are the cleats supplied with Shimano pedals as original equipment). They feature super positive engagement and excellent retention, and are compatible with all Shimano SPD pedals except PD-M858.
